“Chavruta” – Ability And Character Is Rebuilt By The Word

“Chavruta” – Ability And Character Is Rebuilt By The Word

This time, I’d like to confirm how good Tefillin and Jewish teaching are.
That is, that Word education is a superior way of learning.
The combination of Tefillin and Jewish teaching improves human life and human usefulness by rebuilding The Word in people.

“Tefillin” – Unfamiliar People Become Smarter With Jewish Education

It is exactly as described in the following psalm about how wonderful The Word is:

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.
(Psalm 19:7-9)

The Word of the Lord is such that if The Word of the LORD comes into people, that person will be transformed into a more perfect person, their soul will revive, and those who are ignorant will become wise. In addition, hearts are made full of joy and the eyes become bright.
If you walk in the path of the fear of the Lord, then you will never make mistakes and will you be more and more pure.

Indeed, it is a good thing to do.

In the first place, why did God destroy the first human beings that were created in His image?
It was because people departed from The Word of the Lord and believed in the words of the serpent (Satan). The first two people, Adam and Eve, listened to the Satan’s words, were deceived, followed Satan’s words, took the forbidden fruit from the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”, and ate from it.

Since the time of Adam and Eve’s mistake in the Garden of Eden, people have become separated from God because The Word of the Lord was being mixed with Satan’s words.
People began to judge right and wrong by themselves.
As these people became envious, angry, and deceiving to others, they also began to kill others.

The original meaning of faith (Sanskrit: bhid) is “to associate or to tie”.
Each person must decide which of the two meanings is being used according to which word it is tied to.

It is good to be careful about which words we use to mix with other words.
If a person thinks about a bad word that someone else casually spoke out of their mouth, they may get sick.

That is why the Lord was commanded everyone to recover their original human nature which was destroyed by Satan.
The way to recover original human nature is what will follow.

They Repeatedly Inscribed The Word of God Thoroughly On Their Hearts

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
(Deuteronomy 6:6)

The essence of Judea’s Hakada (iterative) is in Deuteronomy 6:6.
They repeatedly inscribe The Word of God thoroughly on their hearts.
When we repeatedly inscribe God’s Word on our hearts, our original human nature begins to recover and regrow into our original nature and abilities.

Through recitation, people will begin to develop Biblical characteristics, their own personal characteristics will begin to change, and their brains will develop.

For some people, before they began the recitation of God’s Word, their IQ was 124.
However, after reciting God’s Word, their IQ became 164.
Additionally, their personality also became wonderful.

Through biblical recitation, no matter what a person was like before they began recitation, people can be changed by God’s Word.
When The Word of God enters people, it mixes with their character and begins to restore them as God’s children.

“Chavruta(Havruta)” – The Jewish Traditional Educational Method

The Jewish traditional educational method is called “Chavruta(Havruta).”
In this educational method(Face-to-face learning), pairs of learners talk about a subject with each other.
By discussing subjects together, learners improve their ability to hear and understand the words of others.
Chavruta also improves the learner’s ability to express themselves, to communicate clearly, and in theory, to also persuade people.

These Jews have been learning with this method since their childhood.

The NTL International Training Institute studies the effectiveness of various learning methods.

According to the NTL Institute, people remember only 5% of content when only “listening” to information.

That is why listening materials need to be heard 20 times to remember 100%.

The NTL Institute also found that through reading alone, only 10% of materials are remembered.

When both listing and reading are combined in audiovisual education, 20% of materials are remembered.

Additionally, the NTL Institute found that if a person attends a class lecture on a subject and then follows up by giving a lecture or participating in a group discussion about the materials, then 50% of the material content was remembered.

It was also reported that 75% of material could be remembered when the information that was taught is actually practiced.

Finally, the study found that the “Chavruta(Havruta)” Method, that is, if we communicate with another person face to face and discuss the same theme, then learners are likely to remember 90% of the information.

The Importance of Educating Ourselves With Faith And A Respect For Jesus Christ

Certainly, the Jewish teaching methodis excellent, but it is not perfect.
Because the Jewish people have little or no faith in believing in Jesus Christ, the Jewish people will only study and recall the Old Testament.
The Jewish people do not study the New Testament gospels nor do they learn about salvation or eternal life.

There can be a danger of creating “harmful genius’” if the learning method places the its primary purpose onusing Word education to simply develop brains and abilities.
This purpose, by itself, may lead to ruins.

A good example from the Bible would be King Solomon.
King Solomon was the smartest person in the world.
He gained more money, more honor, and more women than anyone, but because his faith in God collapsed, the end of life was entirely empty.

So, the essence of education is not to create geniuses or to create rich people.
Instead, the essence of education should be to nurture a child of God to have a firm faith in God and also teach a child to know and understand the fear of God.

Since the beginning, God gave His blessing to everyone created God in his own likeness and told them to increase and multiply with many births so that the children of God will fill the whole earth.

Everyone should be educated and reborn as a child of God by the Word!
